After a brief stint in the Peace Corps, Kris moved to Chicago to do theater and improv. Notable venues included the Improv Olympic (now IO Chicago), Playground, and Side Project Theatre. Kris wrote and performed the one-man show Island, as well as performing completely a improvised solo show in Andy Eninger’s Sybilization series.
After moving to Los Angeles, Kris earned a two-year acting certificate at the Sanford Meisner Center under Martin Barter and Alex Taylor.
Kris co-wrote and acted in the web series Acting School Academy, starring Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding from NBC’s Saved By The Bell). He was also a credited writer on the feature film Trade In, a comedy about rival car dealers.
You can find him performing stand-up and in his two person improvised hip-hop show, Freestyle Theater.
